Child & Teen Therapy in Connecticut

Every child deserves to feel understood. At The Wellness Group, our licensed child and adolescent therapists help kids and teens—ages 3 through 17—navigate the challenges of growing up in a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space. Whether your child is struggling with anxiety, big emotions, behavioral challenges, or a difficult life change, we're here to help them build confidence, resilience, and healthy coping skills. We see families in person at our Shelton and Thompson, CT offices and through secure telehealth across Connecticut.

Support for Every Stage of Childhood

Growing up presents unique emotional, social, and behavioral hurdles. At The Wellness Group, our compassionate counselors provide specialized mental health support designed explicitly for toddlers, children, tweens, and adolescents. We partner closely with families to help young people navigate big emotions, build resilience, and develop healthy coping mechanisms for life's challenges.

Young Children and teens experience the world differently at every age, and therapy should meet them where they are. Our clinicians tailor their approach to your child's developmental stage—using play, conversation, and evidence-based techniques that fit how your child naturally expresses themselves.
