Mandy Riordan is a licensed professional counselor who has worked in the mental health field since 2010. Mandy received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Connecticut followed by a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Connecticut State University. Mandy has experience with all ages and populations from her time working in an outpatient clinic, substance abuse prevention college counseling, residential group homes, and in-home counseling programs. Mandy utilizes a combination of Reality Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy suited to each individual's needs via a strengths based approach. Mandy has a strong passion for working with individuals suffering from low self-esteem, anxiety, depression and ADHD as well as pre and postnatal concerns. Mandy enjoys working with individuals to help them attain their goals while learning how to effectively manage any mental health symptoms.
