As a counselor, it is my main priority to provide you with a warm, accepting space to work towards instilling positive changes in your life. I take a primarily person-centered, empathetic, and nonjudgmental approach while implementing various techniques from mindfulness-based, CBT, and DBT schools of thought. My main goals are to help you build on the resilience you already have, dispute self-destructive thoughts, and learn to recognize and celebrate your strengths. Coming from a master’s program which specializes in multicultural competence and social justice, I hold the facets of multicultural sensitivity and client empowerment near to my heart.
